The Ingenua Shadesail - Pentagon (5 sided) is the biggest Shadesail that we do with 3.5m sides. Comes in a premium fabric and sold here with the 75 degree angled fixings.
The Ingenua Shade Sail is the very latest innovation from the makers of the incredibly clever Paraflex parasols. It solves many of the drawbacks of standard Shadesail brands:

- Parasol quality canvas offering water resistance, mould and fade resistance
- Grooved poles, allowing fixings to slide up and down, creating interesting and versatile shade sail shapes and easing installation

Guideline 70 kph wind speed - Ingenua shadesails, when correctly erected with the Ingenua poles and fixings have been steady wind speed tested to 70kph. This is an approximate guide only as gusting winds in different locations will impact a sail in different way.

- 3.5m sides requires a 4.5m pentagonal area for erection
- Shaded area 19.3m2
- Premium fabric - 190g Olefin, machine washable fabric
- Mould resistant, fade resistant AND highly water resistant
- Reinforced fabric in corners for durability
- Standard Colour - Roma (Natural)
- Special Order Colours - Terracotta (Terra), Taupe, Stone Grey, Red, White - 3/4 weeks
- Includes sail, tensioner and snap hooks for attaching shadesail to fixings
Angled Fixings
Highly versatile fixings can be bought in mix and match buying options, to fit your needs. It all depends your location. Do not hesitate to call if you need help.
Rule of thumb: Position your fixings so that the angle of the rope from the fixing point will bisect the shadesail corner - click next photo to see images.
- If you need a pole...
- Angled Poles - 75 degree angle, 260cm length, ellipse shape in cross section,
- Then you need to fit the pole to the ground...
- Angled Inground Base - 75 degree angle, 3 parts with stainless steel inground section for setting in concrete, removable overground angled section and cover flap
- Angled Deck Mount - 75 degree angle, for bolting down to reinforced decking or concrete
- Wall Brackets - enables a pole to be fixed against a vertical wall with brackets (angled pole is still suitable)
- Or you can fix the sail corners to an existing structure...
- Fixed Wall Kit fixed point eye bolt with tightener/rope tidy placed lower down wall for easy reach and lowering/raising the sail - for fixing to any flat strong surface
- Wall Hooks Buy your own hooks for a single fixed point from your local DIY store.

The Buying Options
Start by choosing a Shadesail size below, then either a special order colour (delivery 3/4 weeks) or a standard colour. If you then need poles, or deckmounts or wall fixings, add the number you need of each by clicking the appropriate button.
NB It is possible to mix vertical poles and fixings with angled ones. The vertical fixings are also available through us. It is also possible to buy sets of triangular and square shade sails to make different geometric shapes. Please browse the rest of our site or call!
