Base Options
The parasol comes with a spigot base which can be bolted directly into concrete or reinforced decking for a permanent position in the ground. The alternative recommended base is an inground fixing which is set in concrete. The spigot base is then bolted to the inground fixing for again a permanent position in the ground.
Either the spigot base used as set out above or the inground fixing give the best resistance to wind and thereby avoid breakages caused by parasols being blown over. They also extend the time when the parasol can remain open.
Mobile bases are available but not recommended for the above reasons.
