The Vortex Parasol is a UK manufactured ultra strong parasol, designed by specialists to suit the needs of the UK climate. It is the strongest parasol available on the market today and will out perform all awnings.

Heat and Light Options
Fully Integrated Electrics
- Lights
- Set of 4 mast mounted Solamagic halogen spot lights (4 x 50W) with 1 x 2.0m cable included, fitted to the frame
- NB GU10 bulbs (easily available at local stores) not included with lights as too fragile for bulk deliveries.
- Heaters
- Mast mounted electric hub for connecting up to 4 heaters, 2 x 2m cabling included, fitted to the frame
- Set of 2 or 4 x 1.4kW Electric heaters, with Hirschmann plugs, cable and velcro bracket for mounting on struts
NB Cabling will be installed from components to apex of the parasol. Cables from apex to base are best fitted on site.
External Fit ("Retro Fit") Electrics

- Set of 4 mast mounted Solamagic halogen spot lights (4 x 50W) with 1 x 10m cable included

Base Options & Installation
We provide full instructions on how to install the parasol and will happily work with your electrician on the electrical fitting if required.
The Vortex parasol should ideally be installed with the inground base, fitted into the concrete footing, as this will give optimum stability:
- 2.8m sq 0.8m3 footing
- 4.2m sq 1.0m3 footing
The parasol is fitted into the inground base and bolted down with 6 high tensile steel bolts.
Other base options include a deckplate to bolt down to an existing solid surface - 800mm x 800m x 10mm.
