The Ingenua Shadesail Square in premium fabric with vertical fixings is one of the best shadesails on the market. The matching poles and fixings are designed for flexibility and ease of use.
The Ingenua Shade Sail is the very latest innovation from the makers of the incredibly clever Paraflex parasols. It solves many of the drawbacks of standard Shadesail brands:

Guideline 70 kph wind speed - Ingenua shadesails, when correctly erected with the Ingenua poles and fixings have been steady wind speed tested to 70kph. This is an approximate guide only as gusting winds will affect the sails differently.

Vertical Fixings
Highly versatile fixings can be bought in mix and match buying options, to fit your needs. It all depends your your location. Do not hesitate to call if you need help.
Rule of thumb: Position your fixings so that the angle of the rope from the fixing point will bisect the shadesail corner.
- If you need poles...
- Vertical Poles - 260cm length, "egg" or ellipse shape in cross section, take up to 2 shade sails, sliding groove for tensioners to slide down pole
- Then you need to fit the pole to the ground...
- Vertical Inground Base - 3 parts with stainless steel inground section for setting in concrete, removable overground angled section and cover flap
- Vertical Deck Mount - for bolting down to reinforced decking or concrete
- Wall Anchorage Brackets - enables a pole to be fixed against a vertical wall with brackets
- Or you can fix the sail corners to an existing structure...
- Fixed Wall Kit fixed point eye bolt with tightener/rope tidy placed lower down wall for easy reach and lowering/raising the sail - for fixing to any flat strong surface
- Wall Hooks Buy your own hooks for a single fixed point from your local DIY store.

By way of example:
- For 2 poles set in the ground and 2 poles fixed to a decking area you would need : 4 angled poles, 2 angled inground base and 2 angled deck mounts, OR
- For 1 pole set in the ground, and 3 corners of the sail attached to walls, you would need: 1 angled pole, 1 angled inground base and 3 fixed wall kits/3 hooks bought from DIY store.

NB It is possible to mix vertical poles/fixings with angled ones. The vertical fixings are also available through us. It is also possible to buy sets of square and triangular shade sails to make different geometric shapes. Please browse the rest of our site or call!
