How come you do not have an inground base option the Serengeti Swift parasols?

The Serengeti Swift parasol is the smallest parasols that we do, lightweight and durable. As a consequence, there are fewer times when an inground base is really needed compared the the larger patio umbrellas.

What size pit do I need to dig for the inground fixing of a 3.4m Shademaker Sola Octagonal Parasol?

I have checked this with the UK agents for Shademakers. The pit for the Shademaker Octagonal 3.4m Parasol needs to be 60x50x100cm. This is probably over engineered, but the extra depth and diameter is recommended because it is not easy to increase the... (More...)
Do the Paraflex cover bags match the colour of the canopies?

The Paraflex cover bags are all the same blue/grey colour that you see on the images on the website. They are not made to match the particular canopy colour that you choose to buy. This would dramatically increase their price, as much as anything... (More...)
Why is an Ingenua Shadesail not recommended for all year use?

I ask this question myself of the UK importers of the Ingenua range. It seems to me that given the parasols made from the same fabric could be used all year outside, then why was this not recommended for the Shadesail?

I can only speak in relation to the brands of garden parasol that I sell as the strength of a wooden parasol is going to depend on the type of wood it is made from, the thickness of the struts, etc etc. Again there are different grades of aluminium... (More...)
