Tradewind Parasols and UV Protection

UV protection is an increasingly burning issue (excuse the pun!!) for customers buying a parasol. Tradewinds umbrella fabric offers a great 94% UV protection factor, which is much higher than say the Dickson Orchestra fabric with which many high quality parasols are fitted.
I believe that this additional sun protection factor stems from the Tradewinds parasols being made for the South African climate where UV protection is even more important than here.
Our Shademaker Sola parasols offer an 50+ UV protection, if you are interested in a sidepost patio umbrella. I am still awaiting details on the Scolaro parasol ranges - so watch this space!
