Will the Southsea Deckchairs suffer from fade?

Posting date: 29th January 2008 17:54

The deckchairs that we have on our site have canvases that are made for the residential market, rather than the commercial

For a commercial deckchairs, we would suggest not using a cotton fabric, but using an acrylic one which will be much stronger.

In terms of the issue of fading, the cotton fabric should last many years in a residential setting, provided of course that it is well treated. If it is left out in the rain repeatedly, or in harsh sunlight, then the fabric will fade more quickly.

Spare canvases can be bought to replace those that fade or get stained etc. Please call if you would like us to arrange this for you.
