Do you have a traditional wooden parasol for a 12ft patio area?

I understand that your patio is quite exposed to a southwesterly wind. I would suggest therefore, as you are at early stages of building the patio, that you go for an inground base which will give you the best protection against wind damage compared to a mobile base. If the wind blows hard a parasols with a mobile base is much more likely to get blown over.

The traditional wooden parasol I would recommend is the Tradewinds Classic Parasol . The most traditional shape is the hexagonal and there are 2 choices of Tradewinds Hexagonal Parasol 2.6m, and 3.2m .

In terms of deciding which size you need, I would do a quick scale drawing of your patio, and allowing for the opening of your patio doors. Then cut out a scale circle for the alternative parasol diameter. You can then decide exactly where you want to place them and how many parasols you need.
