Do you supply commercial parasols with a screw into the ground base for events?

The commercial parasols we do with the screw into the ground base are in the Paraflex range - here is the link:
Have a look at the images and product descriptions and then the following comments should make sense - or call me and I will talk you through it using the images on the website as a guide:
- The parasols are really well designed, light and flexible. You have the advantage of having no centre pole so the space beneath the parasol has no impeding pole for tables to accommodate etc.
- You can have any of the parasol canopies hanging from the parasol pole (1.9m square, 2.2m hexagonal or 2.7m hexagonal) - the smallest will put least pressure on your screw in base in terms of leverage when the arm holding the canopy is extended.
- However if using the screw in base, I would recommend only using one canopy rather than hanging more than one parasol from a pole so as to limit the pressure on the base
- The screw in base is not included on the site but it is in the brochure attached ( p4)
- The parasols are made for light to moderate wind only - so the proviso we discussed yesterday about having your event on a very windy day will apply. It may be that you end up having to close the parasols if they are not coping with the wind.
- The screw in base should not be used in rocky, very hard or very loose soil - if you don't get a good ground purchase then the parasols are going to go up at an angle or will fall over in very light wind!
If you wanted wooden parasols which are more "traditional" looking - rustic rather than contemporary - then these are not available with screw in bases from us, I'm afraid, but we could supply you with them with the mobile concrete bases. The best range is the Tradewinds. They are really good - I like selling them because I have never had a return or warranty claim in 4 years! They are commercial quality and will last - and will take more wind than the paraflex. Here is the link:
Generally, we have supplied a fair number of event organisers. They often seem to like the cantilever or side post style as this frees up the space under the canopy so well. However, you could buy tables with a hole through the middle to go with the Tradewinds centre pole parasols and rent both out to exhibitors. This will mean that the parasols get extra "anti wind" support if you need it on the day.
You can overprint the Tradewinds parasols with your logo if you wanted - approx 4 - 6 week lead time. Have no idea what your budgets are like, but would look good.
Best wishes - Claire
