My client's Cantilever Serengeti Eclipse Square parasol canopy is swinging in the wind. Have I erected it wrong?

Posting date: 21st June 2010 10:49

I know that you have not put in the chrome tilting pole on your Serengeti Eclispe Square Cantilever parasol.

I have checked the instructions on the tilt function of the Eclipse parasols, as per our discussion today, and it is fine that you have left off the chrome pole. What your customer does need to do is to make sure that the tilt handle is tightened, however, to stop the swing. Here is a link to our product page which should explain this better:

If you click on next photo until you get to photo 6 where there is a close up of the top mast. The tightening handle is the black handle at the back behind the wire - sticking out at about 4pm angle. This needs to be tightened. (The chrome pole you left off is shown is coming down parallel to the main mast.)

Best wishes - Claire
