Shade Q&A
Thoughts on patio and poolside living. A blog by Claire - The Patio Umbrella
I seem to have an extra part on my Paraflex Parasol pole which I can't find a use for. Could you explain?

The Paraflex parasol pole is also used as an Ingenua Shade Sail pole. The extra part is a sliding T bar which you need to attach the shadesail to the pole. So, you are right, it is an extra part that you don't need. You can also ignore the instructions which relate to the positioning of the angled inground bases and angled poles. This also is just for the Shade sail section.
Best wishes - Claire
