How do I care for and maintain an Ingenua Shade Sail?

1. Regularlly check the tension on the sail shade
2. Clean the sail shade regularly - see instructions below.
3. Our sail shade is not intended as a permanent shade structure and we advise that the shade sail is taken down in the Autumn and packed away. If required the Ingenua posts can also be taken down and the base covers fitted. Store the shade sail in the bag provided in a cool, dry place
To maintain the appearance of the shade sail it should be cleaned periodically by applying a solution of mild detergent washing powder or liquied that is well dulted and allows it to soak in for several minutes and then using a sponge or soft brush to gently scrub clean. Do not scrub with a stiff brush, scouring pad or abrasive cleaner or use a high pressure washer to clean the sail shade. These may damage teh fibres of the sail and shorten its lifespan.
The sail shades are not fire retardaqnt and should be packed away if you are using a BBQ or patio heater underneath or close to the normal position.
