Do the poles for an Ingenua Shadesail have to be at the same distance away from the poles?

Posting date: 21st April 2010 14:31

Thankyou for your enquiry. I attach the laying out diagram for the Ingenua, and the Shadesail instructions, plus some further specification details on the Ingenua range. Sorry to take a little time in sending these, but have only just located the instructions sheet which I thought would be very useful to you.

You will see from the attached that there is a different recommended maximum distance for the siting of the bases on the angled base fixing options and the vertical fixing options. This is so that when the shadesail rope meets the angled top of the pole, the distance between shade sail and top of pole will end up being the same as on the vertical. The poles do not need to be at exactly the same distance from the sail, so longer as they comply with the maximum. I understand that the minimum distance is 90cm.

Best wishes - Claire Hodgson
